What is Cryptid Girl Summer?
Cryptid Girl Summer is a digital anthology of cryptids, conspiracy theories, and camp stories! We’ll be posting several short audio/visual segments every week as part of our quest to document and explore the eerie, strange, and wonderful of our world!
But what is a cryptid?
A cryptid is an animal that has been claimed to exist, but whose existence has not been proven. Some of the most well known cryptids include the Loch Ness Monster, the Jersey Devil, Bigfoot, and Mothman.
What content will you be releasing?
Great question! Each of Purple Crayon's guiding members (Catherine, Raina, Emma, Sophie, and Sophia) will be releasing a podcast series with 5 episodes, which will air every other week. Every week, one of the members will also create a video of themselves or an audience member telling a ghost, campfire, or bedtime story. Themed playlists will also come out for the first 5 weeks of the project.
